President of Media Genesis is named Southeastern Michigan leader

December 2008

(Troy, Mich.) - Crain’s Detroit Business has picked their “40 Under 40” best and brightest leaders in Southeastern Michigan and Media Genesis’ President Antoine Dubeauclard has been chosen as one those leaders making an impact in the business community.

Crain’s evaluated this year’s 400 nominees based on the candidate’s personal and professional achievements.

“I have never seen anyone with as much drive and dedication to our clients, staff, and partners,” said Media Genesis Founder and CEO, Brad Frederick. “Antoine has endless energy and has a well-balanced focus on all aspects of the business making Media Genesis a truly great company.”

Dubeauclard, 35, began as a salesman at Media Genesis, a Troy-based Web development company, in 1997 – a year after the company was founded.

Now, 11 years later, he owns half the company and is an expert on Internet and application development strategy. Under his leadership, the company has averaged 50 percent growth over the past few years.

“We have a wide-range of clients from automotive manufactures, retail, nonprofits and law firms, but most are Michigan-based,” Dubeauclard said. “My goal is to step-up the company’s growth nationally.”

His role includes oversight of Media Genesis’ sales and creative departments, and strategic partnerships. He often writes and speaks on Internet related subjects and sits on many boards including an advisory committee for the Residential College at the University of Michigan.

“Not only is Antoine instrumental in coming up with extremely unique business and marketing ideas, but he also realizes that having a solid and creative team of people is why clients choose to work with us,” Frederick said.

Dubeauclard first began programming at age 7 when Internet programming was at its infant stage. By the late 1980s, Mr. Dubeauclard developed some of the earliest Internet games after assembling and leading a group of international game developers. Before coming to Media Genesis he worked for Knight Ridder Information System and University Microfilm Inc.

Past winners have included Danialle Karmanos, chairman of the Board of the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit; Marshall Mathers, also known as Eminem, an American rapper, record producer and actor; and Brad Frederick, founder and CEO of Media Genesis.

Media Genesis is one of the largest and oldest independent Web development companies in Michigan, specializing in services ranging from consulting, interactive multimedia and e-learning courses. For more information visit www.mediaG.com.

Troy, Mich.) – Media Genesis, a Web development company, won three awards Wednesday for their commitment to Web excellence and innovative design at the 2008 Helen eWards.

The event was presented in partnership with ConnecTech and Automation Alley, and sponsored by Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. and CW50.

More than 200 Web sites were submitted this year into 10 different categories. Media Genesis won Best of Show for www.DetroitSymphony.com, Business Start-up for www.iSekurity.com and Consumer Products and/or Services for www.TheWhitney.com.

A panel of 25 judges ranging from information technology experts, creative directors, technology reporters and marketing CEOs were chosen to select the winners.

Buying a car in Detroit made simple through interactive Website

November 2008

(Troy, Mich.) – Buying a car can be overwhelming without the extra worry of being pre-approved for a car loan.

But now, Lathrup village-based Michigan First Credit Union has partnered up with Media Genesis to make it easier at the credit union’s two-day car sale November 7 and 8.

Media Genesis, an interactive Web development company, has created a Web site where people can learn more about the sale and request a pre-approval based upon a monthly car payment they are comfortable with. With a pre-approval, shopping at the sale is quicker and easier as consumers already know how much vehicle they can afford. Visitors to the site can also view possible cars without having to leave their home.

Michigan First will offer more than 100 pre-owned vehicles in coordination with Merollis Chevrolet, an Eastpointe Chevrolet dealer, at the Lathrup Village branch, located at 27000 Evergreen.

For more information about the car sale visit www.michiganfirstcars.com.
